As part of Best Buddies Qatar’s ongoing commitment to investing in successful partnerships with various public and private institutions across the country—and building upon the fruitful bilateral collaboration with Plaza Hollandi—the initiative is now seeking to launch a new phase of this success through the introduction of the “Inclusive Plant Project.”

This step comes following the strong and positive outcomes achieved through this partnership over the past period, during which several core objectives were successfully realized, directly benefiting the program members. These include:

• Enabling participating members to acquire practical skills and hands-on experience in plant cultivation, indoor plant arrangement, and floral design, while providing them with the opportunity to engage in a real work environment.
• Allocating a fixed percentage of the profits from the sale of plants cultivated by the members for their personal benefit, which represents a positive indicator and a genuine entry point into the labor market.

This initiative contributes to empowering the members to achieve financial independence and strengthens the vision of inclusion and meaningful employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Qatar.
