Highlighting the Success Stories of the Inclusive Employment Program at the Awareness Corner “I Am With Employment” in Vendôme Mall, Lusail

During the last week of September 2025, Best Buddies Qatar organized an awareness corner titled “I Am With Employment” at Vendôme Mall, Lusail. Through this initiative, Best Buddies Qatar aimed to introduce mall visitors from various segments of society to the message and objectives of its  Jobs Program—one of the organization’s most important programs. The initiative sought to raise awareness about the program’s efforts to enhance employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the community and to shed light on real success stories of members who have been successfully employed across various institutions in Qatar, demonstrating their professional competence and readiness for work.

The awareness corner, which ran for three consecutive days from September 25 to 27, 2025, featured several diverse activities, including a mini cinema that showcased an awareness film highlighting real success stories of employed Best Buddies members, and a display wall presenting the résumés of all program participants who had undergone job interviews to assess their work readiness. These résumés detailed each individual’s primary communication method, as well as their professional and social skills, enabling interested employers to identify suitable job placements that match their abilities and potential. In addition, an art corner showcased the artistic talents and creative skills of several members in fabric printing and related crafts.

The “I Am With Employment” awareness corner received highly positive and impactful feedback, serving as a beacon of hope for further achievements and new milestones in the journey of the Jobs  Program at Best Buddies Qatar.
